This is the Space Sphere
A solid glass sphere with the 3D laser engraving inside: Moon, Saturn, Solar System or Galaxy. Sitting on the wooden base it lights up warm and the engraving looks like it's floating in the glass. Switched off it's a desk object, switched on it's a small mood lamp.
How big is it really?
The sphere is 6 cm across. It's made for a bedside table, a desk or a shelf.
What's it made of?
Solid K9 glass with the laser engraving inside (the image sits within the glass, not printed on top, so it can't scratch off). Turned natural wood base with a warm LED built in. USB cable in the box.
Which one should I pick?
Moon if it's a romantic gift or for someone who likes simple things. Saturn to make someone smile. Solar System for kids and curious types: the planet names are engraved on it. Galaxy for the biggest effect in the dark. Not sure? Moon is the one people give most.
How do I switch it on and look after it?
Plug the USB cable into a charger or any USB socket. The glass picks up a bit of dust: a wipe with a soft cloth now and then and it's clear again. Keep it away from the edge of high shelves, it's solid glass and it has some weight to it.
